Agra's Single Day Itinerary

In this article I'll guide you what are the Places To See In Agra In a Single Day and how to cover them all.
For covering the major places in a day its important that you have your own/hired car to take you quickly to the other places.

	Arrive at Taj Mahal at around 6am which is its opening time. It would be recommended to go there as early as possible to avoid the rush and also to experience the full effect of changing sunlight on Taj at sunrise. Leave for breakfast at around 9am-9:30am the southern gate (eating places from other gates are far away). Finish breakfast before 10am and head towards Agra fort which is adjacent to the Taj Mahal. Checking out the fort can take upto 2-3 hours. Head towards Sikandra and/or Itmad-Ud-Daula which can take another 2 hrs approx. After having lunch you should leave for Fatehpur Sikri at 3:30pm. You will reach the place after 1 hour which is 45km from Agra. Reach Fatehpur Sikri parking at 4:30pm. Take the 5min bus ride which will take you to the actual place. You can stay there till it closes and leave for your home at the appropriate time. If you are going to Delhi then you should depart from Agra 7:00pm at most.
	NOTE:- For people without their own car it wouldn't be possible to visit Fatehpur Sikiri after Agra in a single day but they can still visit all the other places that I have mentioned. Guides at Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri would be recommended for the best experience and believe me it would be worth it. The time taken I've mentioned is on an average and you can stay at a place longer if you wish to, but you'll have to cut short the sightseeing time from another place. Agra is a small city and travelling within the city by car takes 10-15 min only.
